About INSSO
Shaping the global workforce of the future…
The International Network of Sector Skills Organisations (INSSO) is an international membership organisation, representing industry, unions and educators, founded in 2009 at World Skills Calgary by:
- Canada – The Alliance of Sector Councils
- New Zealand – The Industry Training Federation
- United Kingdom – Alliance of Sector Skills Councils
INSSO was formally launched in March 2010 at the British Council’s Going Global conference and the network has gone from strength to strength since, adding members in:
- Australia – Industry Skills Council Forum
- Netherlands – Knowledge Centres
- India – Sector Skills Councils (represented by NSDC)
- Pakistan– National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (NAVTEC)
- South Africa – Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs)
Tom Bewick is the co-founder and Chairman of INSSO and has been instrumental in the organisation’s development since its inception.
